How PDFEditHub works

From upload to finished PDF, in four clear steps.

Work directly in the PDF workspace, use AI or OCR only when you need it, review the result, and choose how to download your document.

  1. 01

    Open your PDF

Upload a PDF up to 20MB. You can preview and start editing before signing in. Password-protected or damaged files may need to be unlocked or repaired first.

  2. 02

    Choose the right tool

Edit selectable text, add text or images, fill interactive fields, sign, highlight, redact, crop, rotate, delete pages, merge files, or add a watermark in the same workspace.

  3. 03

    Use AI when it helps

Ask page-aware questions, request a summary, or describe a supported edit. The assistant prepares the change for review; the PDF is modified only after you choose Apply change.

  4. 04

    Review, sign in and download

Check the page preview, select Done, then sign in if needed. Your account or plan must include every tool used. Download as PDF or choose another available export format.

What to expect

The right workflow for each kind of PDF.

PDF files are built differently. These details explain when editing, OCR, AI assistance, and profile storage apply.

Scanned PDFs and OCR

Use OCR to add a searchable English text layer to image-based pages. Auto mode preserves usable text layers; Force OCR rasterises selected pages and should be used only when their existing text is broken.

Existing PDF text

Exact text editing works best when the PDF already contains selectable text. Embedded fonts are reused when possible; unavailable or subset fonts may use the closest safe replacement.

Your current document

For signed-in users, the latest supported PDF is saved as the current profile document. Uploading another replaces it, and you can open, download, or delete it from your account.

Access and control

Tool access depends on the plan configured for your account. AI answers and automated edits should be checked carefully, especially for legal, medical, financial, or official documents.

Before you finish

  • Keep an original copy of the PDF.
  • Confirm that you have permission to edit it.
  • Review replacement fonts and line wrapping.
  • Verify AI answers and every downloaded page.
